Based on the screenshots and the 18 second trailer, I was really hoping to give this one a go.
The game looks like a very well designed single player racing game, and I do like the icon design.

I wasn't able to play, and just wondering why the need for an internet connection?
I do wish more developers would take the time to mention that an internet connection is required.

Oh boy the timers are gonna kill this.... I currently have 4 chests to open. All with timers, two chests have 3 hours and the other two have 8 hours (yes 8 hours)... I Played this morning, didn't realise you have to activate the timers on the chests, I thought they would be done after work, turns out the weren't going.. Only problem is you can't have more than one timer going at once. So that will be 22 hours to unlock 4 chests that took about 20 minutes of play to earn... I can still race while waiting, however I cannot claim any mor chests as 4 is the maximum slots available. IMO ruining what has potential to be really fun..

Hi - one of the two developers here. Good point about not mentioning the required connection. I'll see if I can update the description in a sensible way. Incidentally, connection is required because we run the meta-game (rewards, balance etc) on our servers but it's really there to support what we'll be adding in future updates - async multiplayer!

Thanks for the comment about timers. Did the tutorial not make the need to unlock obvious? I guess the answer to that *is* obvious We're right at the start of trying to find the right balance in the meta-game, and I think you make a good point about the timers. We'll give it some thought.
