App description: People are calling this app the best game to design your own interiors in! Create beautiful, stylish interiors that show how creative you are! Youtubers can't stop streaming Castaway games, download and find out why!

In Castaway Home Designer the player is the mayor of a tropical island, but also the personal interior designer for all the citizens. The player earns currency in the form of Gems by creating unique and stylish interiors. There are over 1000 pieces of furniture to use. Earn more Gems by listening to the likes and dislikes of the citizens. By developing the island and building more houses a colourful paradise will be discovered.

Castaway Home Designer is the second game in the "Castaway" franchise which started with Castaway Paradise in 2014. More Castaway games are planned to be released in the coming years. Each Castaway game shares the same universe and characters. However, each Castaway title has a different game genre. For example Castaway Paradise is a life simulator game, while Castaway Home Designer is a interior design game.

I've activated the code it said 9000 pearls returned to the game but I didn't have them in-game. Force closed the app couple of times but didn't work.

Yesterday we released our new game we hope will be successful. Instead of making the game appealing for a huge audience we decided to make it more of a niche game. We choose females around 35-55 years old.

We designed our previous game Castaway Paradise for children, split 50/50 between female and male. After we launched the game we discovered our audience was actually 75% female. Most of which were 25+ years old. So instead of changing the game to fit our target audience we shaped the game more towards the wishes of the real audience.

Our new game Castaway Home Designer goes a step further. We let go of conventional game-y structure that young male competitive gamers like and embraced a more open casual flow. This might alienate gamers. I'd love to know what you think of our little game. Do you like the structure? Or do you think it's too casual for your taste?

Interesting information about your audience. I'm pretty sure there a lot of male players who enjoy Animal Crossing but that maybe depends on the system as well.

Just watched couple of minutes gameplay from AC: Happy Home Designer for the first time and I must say this type of "home designing" game feels like there isn't a solid mechanic for me to enjoy. I mean they could have added this whole designing thing easily to New Leaf or the next AC game. Because having another app/game means you will have absolutely no connection with the customers or your character. So why do I bother? That's just my opinion, thousands of people see things differently.

But I think you will have much more female players interested in this (again, lol).

Last but not least (because I want to keep playing a bit more to see my opinion change or not and also waiting for my 9000 pearls :P ), IMO we should be able to put the same thing consecutively instead of tapping right of the screen again. Also I would like to be able to move stuff on top of something with that. Let's say I have flowers on top of table and if you move the table, flower is going to be on the ground. Ok one last thing (though maybe not possible) rotating the camera is kinda essential for this type of game.

Nicely presented app. Looks more suitable for 5-10 year olds, so not something I'd be playing.

Some objectives require moving, say, 6 items. Not all items seem to register when moved. Wondering if that's part of the game trying to find which items are being referred to.

It's not clear if there are any benefits to completing the optional objectives.
