Goodbye Cave Jumpers (pulled yesterday) and pretty much exactly one year later, welcome Temple Jump. Being covered by Apple gave TJ over 21k downloads already, while CJ had (still has) a leaderboard with 123 people. It matters.

While i usually never give my deleted little twitchy "toilet hot seat" games a second chance (once i played them excessively), i was curious about the added challenge mode...well, it's nothing huge or special, but you can exercise a bit the traps which will come in the endless mode. Good for newbies...and just saying, this game is rockhard and needs some time to get used to these top working controls, imho.
How long you touch the screen will determine the length of your jump...and lacking any sensitivity skill of your thumb will determine wether you game on or rage quit/delete this gem.

Honestly, i'm hooked again and bought the ads free iap for $2. Having a GC leaderboard with no continues is also very rare these days. Thanks!

Encountered a bug, twice on a grey thick pillar. I stick on it, no jumping possible anymore. Pushing restart solves it, but the score is gone. Playing on an iphone 7, version 10.2.1

PS: push anywhere on screen to restart would be greatly appreciated. My thumb could stay comfortably on the bottom of the screen. Please!

This came in a little late but it seem like we just got featured on the App Store homepage a day or two ago! Better late than never

Hey! Thank you for your thorough review (This is great and should probably go on the App Store review section too!). I'm glad to hear from a Cave Jumpers fan. We are almost hitting 100k right now but the participation in Game Center do seem a lot less.

Allen and I has been working on the game for quite a bit and some scheduling conflict along the way as well (which resulted in such prolong delays). The challenge mode is designed to provide a fixed level experience (some are really fun) where player can train and completes the uniquely designed levels but surely the earlier levels serve as a good training ground for new players.

There are a lot more that can be done with the game and we are already working on more exciting mechanisms and characters. I will look into the pillar issue and hopefully it's not Bat Dude's cape (does this occur with other characters?) getting stuck to the pillar. "Push anywhere to restart" - heard!

Your contributions (both feedback/ads free) is a great help to us. Hope you will have a great time with Temple Jump!

Ps. Remember to review

I was a fan of Cave Jumpers, other than the added Challenge Mode I am not noticing anything different?

Is this something where you bought the rights to Cave Jumpers? Too bad the original release didn't get any attention.
