Even though I compulsorily went through various references to compile this list, my primary motivation was not enthusiasm for the genre, but plain fascination for the gargantuan number of derivative titles.

I did show some considerable bias by placing what I perceive as the most popular titles at the top.

Anodia is a recent, well-acclaimed entry and the only one I keep in this genre. I especially enjoy it for its gravity field feature which permits the player to influence the ball's trajectory.

Block Breaker 3 Unlimited is a popular one that came out this summer I believe. The production values are high and it tries to bring something new to the table with a few novel ideas.

Halogen is another interesting one I haven't tried yet. A block breaker that borrows its ball-handling controls from table hockey. It uses the popular vectorized "neon" look.
