App description: Short Summary:

The original digital conversion of the highly decorated Terra Mystica board game of Helge Ostertag and Jens Drögemüller. Play against other players world wide or challenge the computer opponent.

Overview:

Terra Mystica is a strategy game with a simple game principle and very little luck involved: You govern one of 14 factions trying to transform the Landscape on the game board in your favor in order to build your Structures. On the one hand, proximity to other players limits your options for further expansion, on the other hand though, it provides some benefits during the game. This conflict is the source of Terra Mystica's appeal.
Structures may be upgraded to provide even more resources, like Workers, Pries
The 14 artfully designed factions, each having unique special abilities, as well as the exchangeable bonus cards allow for a large number of possible game plays that constantly keep this game entertaining!

Are these the same guys who did Agricola?
Would love to hear some further impressions, especially regarding the fantasy aspect.

Original Agricola was made by playdek.
These guys made the 2p variant, Patchwork and 2p Le Havre.

This adaption is so great!

Same guys who did Patchwork which has became one of my favorite board games so I'm down to play this one for sure. 10$ is fair as well considering it's far cheaper than the actual board game would be and you can take this anywhere

Are the multiplayer turns relatively short? I feel like Patchwork's multiplayer was really lacking with long (24 hours I think?) turn limits. Too many people abandon games after a few turns.

I'm glad Digidiced made this though. Playdeck's adaptations tend to really over do it with animations and performance tends to suffer. Their Mac port of Twilight Struggle maxes out my newish MBP too, making it the first and only game I had to request a refund for on Steam.

This is a eurogamers wet dream. Really well done so far. On a side note the fire and ice expansion is not included if you were wondering. Coming soon I guess

The expansion says 'Coming Soon' in the app, along with harder AIs.

This video gives a great overview of the game: https://youtu.be/2Yg2vIWCSmg

I personally can't wait to dive into this game!:-)
