I we just launched a game and refined what has proven to be a great improvement to our game revenue per player. We designed some games so that players are encouraged to use video ads to continue their play rather than start from the beginning. We just had a new game approved by Apple and in this game we extended that video ad reward to another area and hope it brings us further up the ladder.

I think the game has to actually be good so players would want to play it and watch the video ads/buy the iAPs that disable them. So maybe that should be higher on the priorities list rather than revenue?

Yes in a perfect world that works but there are many great games that go nowhere

maybe 100k in advertising launch will do, other than that, its 1 in a million to achieve any success.

Rewarded videos ads are certainly the highest earning ad format nowadays. The fact that players actually want to watch these ads to earn some rewards means more advertisers are catching on and paying more to reach these players.

If you want more inspirations for more creative ways to incorporate rewarded videos in your game, check out this post!
