App description: The objective is to step on each icy block in the level, cracking it underneath you.
Once all the blocks are cracked, this will break away the small cluster of rocks blocking your exit.
But, if you step back on a cracked block, you will fall off and will have to start again... From the start! So pay close attention to where you step!

Sure, you may be saying "Pppfffttt, that sounds easy enough! At least there's no time limit!"... Welp! You Spoke too soon! There will be a time limit. But don't worry though, you will still have plenty of time to plan your steps, just as long as you are hasty!

A goal will be set at the start of a level for you to beat. The more time you have left over when finishing the level, the higher the score. If you beat the level timer for the level, you will unlock the next level!

To move your character around, simply swipe anywhere... That's right! ANYWHERE on the screen to move your character in that direction!

As long as you can reach the exit in time, there shouldn't any problems... Right?!

Good luck!

Want to take a break from those match three games that you see all over the market place? Want to try something a little different to test your puzzle-solving abilities? Well look no further! Slidey Feet is a cute, top down puzzle game designed to test your speed and wit. Play as cute, lovable characters attempting to break out of a deep dark cave in order to return home to their loved ones.

Game features:

+ Fast paced top down puzzle game
+ Simple pick up and play controls
+ Unique game-play experience in every level
+ 50 awesome and challenging levels to complete (so far)
+ Cute and fun-loving characters to choose from
+ Powerups to help beat the timer
+ New mechanics introduced every 5 levels
+ Leaderboards to complete with your friends
+ Constantly updating to include new and exciting things

The objective is to not only make your way to the exit, but to also break each tile along the way. Once all the tiles are cracked, the rocks will break away revealing the exit before you. Simply swipe on to the exit to complete the level. Complete the level within the given time to unlock the next level.

By completing levels, you will receive a star value and a certain amount of golden fish (depending on how well you do). You can use these fish to unlock more power-ups, characters, and lives!

The levels will get progressively harder, so make sure to take your time, and to think about it!

I would love some feedback on the game! So if you have any suggestions, I would love to take them on board!

I had the chance to try Slidey Feet at a local indie games exhibition. After giving it a go I downloaded the game right away. It's a fun little game for sure and the developer is releasing new updates for the game with extra content!

This game is awesome! More levels coming???

Hi Juicy Beetle Games, I've been playing your game now for a couple of months since you first released it. The updates you made to the difficulty of the game and the content you've been adding has been great. Just wondering what else will be added? I'm currently up to level 37 and have 4-5stars in most of them and they're getting really challenging now, I was wondering if you're going to add in more levels or some other kinds of levels?

Hey HarkonX! Thanks for playing the game. Good to hear that you are enjoying it!

Yeah, I definitely have plans on releasing a lot more levels with new mechanics to follow. Some mechanics I have in mind would be more orientated around the water. I really want to push just how dire the water really is, and what actually lurks beneath. I am thinking of moving tunnels as well, but as far as mechanics go, everything is still in the air at the moment.
I do hope these levels will be released some time in the near future, hopefully before the end of the year, fingers crossed!

Really great game! I really enjoy a game where you can find challenge from simple and easy to understand controls. What are your plans for moving forwards from here?

One suggestion I might make is to register the player completion time as a float rather than an int. This would make racing a friend and shaving fractions of a second off their time a lot of fun.

Overall though I really enjoy it and I hope a lot of people give it a shot!

Hey Rockalot! Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you are enjoying it!

Yeah, altering the time frame was something that's been on the books for awhile now. I'm still not sure whether or not to remove the timer completely, and just have attempts instead, or to keep it as is. The benefits of having it how it currently is, is the fact that you can possibly have 'unlimmited' attempts at a level. Even though you may not beat the level time, at least you know how to complete the level after multiple attempts with no real consequence. However, NOT having a timer changes the game play a little further, allowing players to take their time and to think about the level more carefully.
It's a tricky one, so hopefully I would get more input about this!

But yes, that is a good point! Having the timer as a float is a very good idea!
