I played the first like crazy but never really got into the sequel. Once more onto the breach, my friends.

What is different/improved this time around? Pocket Mine 2 was phenomenal, but I'm hesitant to dive in to PM3 if it's pretty much the same (since I played the last one into the ground).

My power-pop band is on iTunes.

The biggest change thus far is there are enemies in the mine that can remove pick durability if you don't attack them fast enough.

Keys also replenish each run (so I start each mine with 4 keys every time), and the crafting system is different.

It's got enough changes to be worth playing if you liked PM2!

Several of the things that I did not like about the second version such as the inventory management of all the different characters and their individual timers has been tightened up this time. The gameplay is very similar with the addition of enemies and kind of health mechanic. I was afraid that this would change the overall gameplay for the worse, but so far I like it. It's definitely the major change/addition to the core game.

I think it's superior to 2 with the changes. I love the key mechanic now and everything seems much more efficient. The only thing I don't like is permanent energy but I guess I'll have to deal with it.

TOP5: Chaos Rings 3 / Monster Hunter Freedom Unite / Iron Marines / Never Gone / Steam World Heist
