Well, this is my first taste of AR so Ill have a better idea about the game when the wow wears off, but for now....

I only tried AR briefly but this is my first game using it too. I played mostly the regular mode and its really nice. Very good swipe/tap conrtrols - the way you move around the 3D environments on a flat plane not only looks cool but works very well. Hastily bought the no ads IAP as I always do with Nitrome.

I don't have the AR apperatus but just playing this game with my 2 eyes is good stuff. I only wish that movement left or right could be done with a tap on a d-pad as opposed to the swipe....swiping throws me off when I'm also trying to continually tap to stay in the air. Otherwise this is another winner from Nitrome

I've not played AR and probably won't I like my reality and video games separately but man... the level design here is something else. Nitrome makes the best mobile games and always pushes the envelope.

This game is awesome!!! This is why I love Nitrome! Always clever and innovative. I have tried the first AR level, but prefer the normal levels. I was hooked after the first level.

Really enjoying this one, though even the normal levels chug on my 6+ (haven't tried an AR level yet).

Has anyone found stars on levels one or three? Not sure if every level has a star.

Is the platforming decent or is the 3D models the only thing going for it?

I think it's fun! The layout of the levels are complicated because of the 3D models which gives each level a maze-type feeling. You have to work your way through each level trying to locate 6 light orbs, then once you find them, you then have to locate the exit. It's not easy though since there are tons of enemies, traps and other surprises that are trying to prevent you from progressing. It's super fun, very creative and FREE so why not try for yourself!
