early impressions:
  • slightly better graphics, more vibrant jerseys
  • some frame rate issues on 6s plus, I'm sure it will get better with updates
  • much deeper association mode: multiyear, gm tasks like NBA draft, player contracts, trades! They also finally added a leaderboard in the stats menu, although I don't know why they split players between West and East, but at least it's there
  • I created my player, but didn't try that mode yet, seems deeper though

Overall it seems a nice upgrade vs 2k17, at least in terms of game modes
Disappointed with controls. No real change there

yes it's pretty heavy on battery, but again..i suppose it will be optimized a little more down the line
