Thank you for your interest! So for this game, you are correct that there are IAPs revolving around the 2 metered gameplay elements Energy (for attempting levels) and Gold (obtained in-game in various ways I'll touch on in a bit used to purchase different items) and some cosmetics. No gameplay affecting elements are locked behind a pay wall. Story, the Editor, and online functions are all always available.

So in terms of the gameplay experience affecting aspect of it, that is playing continuously uninterrupted, the player can hold up to 20 energy which recharges on its own. Gold can be exchanged for it, which is accrued either by beating levels, purchasing it, or by viewing an ad. The viewing the ad one, I think is the core one here as the gold obtained is direcly correlated to an energy purchase, or can be saved up for bigger purchases as needed without additional cost to the player.

My apologies, it appears there was some confusion regarding the different versions of the game from our end!

The Android version is free and contains an energy system and ads. The iOS version is paid and does away with both of those aspects.
