i've done this a bunch too...tho's it's even more fun with shoes when there's just a thin layer of ice on the ground

...although, the sliding with socks thing can be dangerous...a friend of mine's sister did this at a sleepover and fell backwards and hit her head...they had to take her to the hospital and now her short term memory has been permanently affected
