App description: Deserted by your unit, you are tasked with defending your position and holding back an enemy assault. Select between different weapons to shoot down enemy soldiers and destroy attacking tanks and gunships. The battlefield begins in an urban terrain and goes through sea attack, snow battle, night warfare, and desert combat. Are you ready?

The game utilized the iPhone's accelerometer and is played by tilting the phone to aim the target cross-hair. Pinching-in allows for zooming for an up close view of the gun barrel.

I'm not quite sure what's different between the lite and "full" game either. I downloaded the free non-lite version and it has only 5 levels, but I'm not curious enough to download the lite to compare. It's a fair game, but I didn't find it as nice as Coast Defense. The main difference from Coast Defense is that in War Assault you tilt to aim instead of using your finger, and the incoming enemies come back to front at you instead of left to right. However, without any settings to adjust (sensitivity, flip up/down), it's again fair at best. It works and was a decent 10min waste of time, but it's now gone from my iPod while Coast Defense-Free remains.
