Anyone tried this yet ? looks pretty cool but I have already tried a few games very similar to this which were not that great............maybe they should put out a lite version.

Agreed. I like this type of game but some play much better than others.

It looked too good to pass up so I took the plunge and TOFTT.

In my opinion, this is one of, if not the most polished, smoothest rope-swinging game in the app store(aside from Hook Champ, which I love). There are three different modes of play, each with three difficulties. The presentation is great and the rope physics are the absolute best that I've seen in the app store.

For just $.99 I couldn't recommend it any higher if you're into casual swinging action.

Also, I mentioned Hook Champ earlier and just wanted to let everyone know that this game(Rope Raider) is not as involved as Hook Champ. It's more of a quick pick-up-and-play, high scores game. Think of it as an incredibly polished and IMHO, much more entertaining version of Rope 'N Fly.

I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars...

Because I thought Rope n Fly was pretty bad..

and Hook Champ was excellent, the best, but lacked a survival mode.

I also did not like rope n fly which is why I was cautious here and began to ask myself if a rope swinging game could be fun. This does look nice though.

Do the online leaderboards look nice ? ( I assume it's not openfeint)

BTW - I forgot to mention what the three game modes are...

which are:

- Free Swingin'
- Coin Rush
- Speed Frenzy
(they're all pretty self-explanatory)

I've only had the chance to try out 'Free Swingin' and 'Speed Frenzy' so far, but they've been a blast to play.

Lastly, I wanted to point out that as a current interface illustrator for an up-and-coming game that the menu illustrations/layout and interfaces for this game are the best I've seen in its respective genre.
