US iTunes giftcards - advise needed

Hi,

What is the most reliable way for a non-us developer to reward a contest winner with a us iTunes gift card? I understand that the gift cards I can mail from my norwegian account are only valid on the norwegian store...

couldn't you just buy some U.S. iTunes gift cards on eBay

ok, so I buy them on ebay and get a code emailed to me. Can I be reasonably sure that Im not giving out a bogus code?

I'd be sure to check the sellers reputation first.
