Won't get pulled UNLESS the BASIC interpreter can be unlocked via some hidden UI feature. I don't think Apple will say anything if someone figures out how to access C64 BASIC via jailbreak. That said, having access to BASIC via the emulator on a non-jailbreak iPhone wasn't terribly functional. To me, it was cool for 5 minutes, but trying to type on that tiny keyboard was a non-starter. On a jailbreak iPhone, it was a whole other story since you could get the emulator to load any arbitrary C64 file.
I do hope it sticks around. Those guys have worked hard, and they spent quite a while in Apple's penalty box. Good luck! ![]() --DotComCTO |
