ELIMINATE may be fun, but is it over-rated?

I think ELIMINATE is a cool game but it has reasonably poor controls, 5 tiny maps, no CTF ( just Deathmatch ), not even Team Deathmatch. I think it is over-rated and only good as it is the first online FPS. Gamelofts NOVA, MC Sandstorm and many other WiFi games will top it. What do you think?

yeah its a pretty noob game. controls suck. and i dont like the idea of people gaining an advantage by paying more.

yes it was hyped up too much, and like anything that has been long anticipated it's never going to be as good as we all hoped it would be. I think its fun, but it does get a little old, more variety than just deathmatch would definitely improve overall gameplay but it is a giant step in a new direction. Again, like with any product, when something new and exciting comes out and it catches on, everyone else copies and innovates upon the original. So while its not a Five star game in my books, I'm very glad that ngmoco made it. now I just hope to see the online gameplay included in upcoming fps' I have my fingers crossed for NOVA, I hope they take online gameplay to a more diverse level. But there I go hyping up another game so I can probably be let down when it's released.

Yes eliminate is pretty limited at this time and surely there are more game modes which could be included here. Hopefully they`ll add CTF and team matches in the future. Maybe they already have plans and didnt include in the current version to keep people interested for a longer period of time.

But right now it`s the best online FPS available for iDevice, so I`m not complaining at all
