I reaaaaally hope this isn't as hard as all the other versions of Ghosts n Goblins. iPhone touch controls would just add to the frustration and make people hurl their device across the room.

If it's a little easier, I may bite.

looks good, controls are pretty tight, it's a fun game. not amazing by any standards, but a solid 7 out of 10.

Much easier than other versions. Insta-death jumps will kill you, enemies probably won't. Laughable animation, feels a bit cheap. But, you know, it is cheap and I certainly found it hard to stop playing.

It strikes me as a game that I should think is bad, but which I really enjoy anyway.

The in-app purchasing of cheat modes is a pretty horrible thing, though. 59p so I can always use my magic attack? 59p for infinite lives? 59p to remove traps from the levels? No thank you, Capcom.

Oh, and no auto-save. Get a phone call just as you're about to kill the final boss? Sorry, but you'll have to start the level again.

You can buy infinite lives and other cheats for 59p each.

You can also start the game on any level you've already reached.
