Worrying about copycats of game styles is a lost cause. If you don't believe me, check the app store for clones of Asteroids, Space Invaders, Geometry Wars, and other popular game concepts.

The real question is, is this game any good?

I'd TOFTT, but it would just end up on the pile of 20+ games I haven't had time to play lately.

oh I'm not worried, I mean it's not a blatant copy, it has some differences, but I just think it's funny, how without DC this would have never seen the light of day

Never saw this game before.
TOFTTed it right now. Impressions within an hour.

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

Well, this is just a little TD game, cute, but simple graphics and animations.
The soundtrack is very nice.
The main problem is: the game has neither an instructions section nor a sheet where you can check all towers with description. But if you're used to TD games, you'll understand it within minutes.
The game also has no story mode - you can choose every map as you like, the difficulty and the enemy waves, but you play the levels again and again, trying to reach the perfect score.
It is easy in the first waves, but becomes challenging quickly and there's quite some strategy involved.

Compared to Defender Chronicles, it has not much chances.
I would recommend it to die-hard-TD fans and anime lovers, maybe - but only if there is nothing else left to play.

It is a little disappointing, 'cause the game had quite some potential which wasn't used in the end.
At 0.99$ a game that you can play now and then for a few minutes but not much more.

Thanks for the input, too bad about it not being fleshed out.
