Fantasy gostop is played with Hanafuda cards using a different point system.
You can enjoy 2 different card decks in this game.

A deck of fantasy style card images and A deck of Korean hwa-tu cards ver. includes 2 bonus cards.

Game Rules

#1. Deal
The dealer deals 10 cards to each player and 8 face up to the center of the table as followers :
5 cards to dealer's opponent, 5 to dealer, 4 to the table, 5 to dealer's opponent, 5 to dealer, 4 to the table.

#2. Play
The general point of this game is to score 7 points, then call a "Go" or a "Stop". When a "Go" is called, the game continues, and the amount of points is first increased, and then doubled, tripled, quadrupled and so on.
If a "Stop" is called, the game ends and the winner collects their winnings.

Interesting, seems pretty good from the video, being a big warcraft fan anything with an orc in grabs my attention.

oh nice ive been waiting for a good but inexpensive version of gostop on my idevice. the ones so far more expensive than this one but not too much that i wouldnt have bought them. they just didnt seem all that good. but im gonna pick this one up.

genres are not to be seen as forms of textual codifications, but as systems of orientations, expectations and conventions that circulate between industry, text and subject.

I got this in hope of reliving the days when I used to play gostop(the original). Thankfully there were two card skins as I was not familiar with the newer one but great art indeed.

Originally this is a gambling card game. The point is to match a card with another card which is in the same family of card sets. I'm not that great at explaining this game so go ahead and google it if you want. Anyways each cards have different points to it and different matches give you bonus points, at the end of the game you count your total points and whoever has the highest wins (and you can deduct points from your opponents such as
100-70=30 and they pay you a certain amount of money...the fun part).

The game has a story mode which is compiled of a weak story(goal is to save princess, fight monsters, etc.) but what do you expect. The art design for the creatures are very appealing as you can tell from the screenshots. Thankfully there are two skins (original and newer one)since I don't want to remember which cards are which right now.

Now the gameplay is what I am a bit dissapointed in. While the rules are very similar to the one I used to play, it adds extras trying to spice up the game such as bombs. While I don't mind, I wish there was just an option to just play the original as I liked it that way.

Another thing that grinds my gears is that you have a health point system such as an rpg, while interesting, it lingers the battle longer that it would have been than having 2-3 matches as in a single battle you would collect lets say around 100 AND you win but your opponent has 2500 HP...do the math. Which also leads to another problem that there is no autosave nor a viable way to get out of a card battle in progress.

It also a battle mode but that is just for quick gameplay which really doesn't matter since the monster is randomized.

+great art style
+fresh take on an old game
+cool rpg elements
+touch controls responsive

-takes way to long for a battle
-can't change rules [to original]
-no multiplayer of any kind, not even pass n' play
-no 4-way game
-no way to get out of a game
-no auto save

Now the dev trys to make it more of a card battle game feel than just a regular card game which I give kudos to since he also kept the original skins.
The game has it shares of problems and disappointments but
For fans of the original and those who want to try a fresh card game than your crazy 8's and goldfish, I recommend you try this.

This is just some quick impressions and I may have left some stuff out, so ask me if you have a question.

Edit: about the rules complaint, it might be due to the fact I played my own type of gostop as the rules said in the description I am not too familiar with lol.
