Look for help on the Fastlane Thread here or go to the dev's site: it has a drifting video tutorial and other tips. Don't be lazy...

Start with the Talon G100, it's the easiest car to control during a drift.

Tap the break then cut the wheel a bit in the direction you want the car to go.

Then slowly, gently , gingerly ease the car back towards straight.

Remain on the gas during the whole thing.

Learn the tracks. Concentrate on just one track until you really get the hang of it.

Don't worry, It seems really hard at first, but soon you'll be doing things that now seem impossible.

And...it is sooo fun!

Good luck!

I find it's best to tap the gas when coming out of the drift. I keep the pedal down for the whole drift, but let up for just a moment when I try to regain control.

I use the break pedal for drifting. Just tap once and the car will go into drift rest depends upon your skill, how well you control the car.

Currently Playing: N.O.V.A, Skater Nation, 33rd Division, 7 Cities, Karnival.
Looking Forward to: GTA: Chinatown Wars, Ravensword (update), 1112 ep 02 and yeah the hangover on 1st

Actually, NotYou is right.

Sometimes (sometimes mind you, not most often) when coming out of a drift the car will not regain traction (I believe it is because the car is redlining and the wheels are just spinning), I will release the gas for a moment to allow for traction to be re-established, then I will get back on the gas.
