Movement is accelerometer-based and are very loose. Which is bad, considering this is a platform game. Also, you can open portals anywhere except inside walls, which takes away a lot of the challenge. Keep this is mind, or you will get stuck on the second level. My first instinct was to touch the edges of the screen.

There are also game-ending glitches everywhere, and it's already bad enough that it doesn't save your progress in story mode. If you shoot a portal at a wall and teleport to it, it'll reset the level many a time because it gets you stuck inside the wall. However, I managed to walk through some in level three.

Overall, it's a good concept. It just needs refining.

ikemike,

I'm building some onscreen controls into 1.1, so you'll have the option of accelerometer or touch based controls. Yea, portals open anywhere, I tried making them only work on the walls, but I didn't get it working in time.

However, in the 2nd level pack coming in a few weeks, there are a few levels where the portals must be attached to walls.

Just to remind everyone, please leave comments on how easy / hard the levels are so I can adjust the next 18. I'm going to be releasing 1 update every month or so with 18 levels each until I hit 100. If sales are really good however, I'll keep going. But there will be a minimum of 100 levels.

I am very happy to hear about future levels. I was a little worried that the initial 18 levels would not be enough, but considering the level packs, now I know it was worth my dollar. I think I will like the touch based controls better than the accelerometer. The accelerometer is not very easy to control in the game. I love the concept and am looking forward to future updates!

EDIT: I just realized there is no pause button, continue button, and it does not show you which levels you completed. Could that be implemented into the next update?

yes, pause is already in 1.1, I didn't have the system ready for 1.0. It'll be the same system as in Z is for Zombie, pressing pause brings up a menu that allows you to resume / exit to the main screen.

The rest shouldn't be too hard to implement.
