Punchball is now open-source!

Great news for iPhone game developers out there, especially if you are just getting started - we have open-sourced Punchball arcade boxing game.

It’s a good opportunity to see Cocos2D gaming framework and Chipmunk physics engine in action.

It also implements peer-to-peer multiplayer game via Bluetooth (using iPhone’s GameKit framework) as well as online leaderboards.

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to build iPhone games on a non-OSX platform yet? Without jailbreaking of course...

In theory yes but that's not for the faint of heart.
