LongJohnnyE's comments:
Pinger has released their first game, and polished, slick, and fun game based on the classic Slime Volleyball.

The graphics have been extensively upgraded, the physics adjusted to be more fun on the iPhone (you can now put realistic spin on the ball!), and the intuitive touch controls are a brand new design. No longer do you have to deal with awkward buttons and arrows...just slide your finger and the slime dude will follow.

There are 15 levels of computer opponents, along with a final opponent that allows you unlimited advanced levels...play until you simply can't win anymore! You can share your scores and achievements with your buddies through OpenFeint.

The game also includes local Bluetooth multiplayer, with a brand-new 'mirror opponent' design, meaning that both players get to play on the same side their are used to. Give it a try, and you'll see why it's easy and fun to play!

Multiplayer demo video posted to

I will also soon (in 1-2 days) post a more elaborate post on the game to the multiplayer update / news catch-up thread ( http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=419463 ) and, finally, may also update the main multiplayer article here at the User Reviews forum (see http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=34037 ). The latter will only be done later (if the quality of the title warrants it, that is).

NOTE: the usual remarks explained at the bottom of http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpo...5&postcount=10 (see section “4. The videos”) apply – that is, 3G vs. 3G S speed comparison; only one player etc. Please do read them before you complain about the iPhones’ being in portrait mode or there is only one operator for the two iPhones.
