[Synopsis]
Forgotten Memories relates the horrific plot of a missing girl through the eyes of Inspector Rose Hawkins. The troublesome case leads her into the Walker psychiatric hospital, abandoned years ago for an obscure reason, where horrible things await. It is by confronting her own weaknesses and fears that it will be possible to get forward into this morbid adventure.

Welcome to the Psychiatric Walker Hospital.

[The Story]
''The long corridors of the hospital were inlaid by a dark heaviness. An inhuman laugh shook the walls, echoing grimly. Breathless, a woman desperately ran, her feet silently pounding the blood soiled ground, trying to escape from the creatures who took pleasure of her fears. A white angel, armed with a large dagger, appeared before her. Panicked, the patient abruptly darted to the side, slipping on the moist ceramic. She furiously shoved open the doors that blocked her path and froze, trapped. Her terrified gaze raced across the room, hardly piercing the darkness.

The insistent footsteps of her pursuers grew louder as she rushed to the dirty fireplace to grab a wrought iron rod. The damned angel pushed the door with a menacing delicacy. The bare feet stopped in the middle of the dark chamber, scarlet drops crashing on the hideous rug. The grip of the prey tightened on the weapon, nails digging into the hard surface. The woman held her breath in fear and hurtled toward the abomination. A painful scream arose into the night, immediately silenced, leaving last sigh as a memory...''

[The environments]
Everything seems abandoned - dirty floors, stained walls and old technology, as if everyone has left the hospital in a hurry, forgetting their belongings behind. Something evil... inhuman is roaming the dark corridors. Something it is better to avoid. ''You manage to survive until you find out that the hospital itself is evil. Those deadly traps are everywhere, the darkness hides terrible secrets and everything is painted with the color of blood. You finally get out, only facing insurmountable gates trapping you in a gruesome yard where strong fog obscures your vision. That is when you turn around and meet the most monstrous thing you have ever seen.''

[The reality]
Reality is perceived differently by each person. Something trivial in the eyes of one person can become very important... or completely horrifying to another. The twisted plot is filled with strange events, demented foes and a violent sinful past will thrill you until the last second.

[The game]
Forgotten Memories offers a unique mix between modern and classic survival horror genre, featuring a fear system at the core of the gameplay. Set with different characters and personalities, your teamwork will be often tested. Inspect and interact with your surroundings, protect your life, help your friends, escape danger, face or avoid horrible creatures, fight monstrous bosses and solve twisted riddles and puzzles. Every experience is a different way to face this psychological adventure.

Be tricked by your imagination and haunted by your worst nightmares!

[The place]
The establishment and its yard are at your disposal; an old isolated hospital built in 1910 and closed in 1979. The world hides countless mysteries and puzzles that will, on occasion, require you to explore further to search for clues. Doors become barriers, dark corridors unsafe and banal objects significant.

[The inspectors]
They are strong, they are armed, they are ready to fight until the end. By using melee weapons and guns, they will clear a path through the foes and traps, ready to stop the madness and save the missing girl from a horrible fate. They are wise and know teamwork better than anyone else, but they are still only human, showing their own weaknesses.

[The victims]
They are scared, they are emotionally unstable, their unique way to survive is to hide and sneak around. By using the environment to their advantage, they will try to avoid confrontation and find a way to leave the rotten hospital alive. They tend to panic and lose control of their mind. Darkness and blood are very real enemies...

Note: This is not the final game but a quick gameplay demo to showcase few game core mechanics. There's some missing features in this early build for a number of reasons: not yet finished, buggy, need polish, etc. Interfaces for puzzles/riddles and menu systems are still being worked on. Also, some animations/states are a bit buggy/sluggy. We are improving those systems for our next milestone. This video It's about graphical highlights running entirelly on the iPad2. You can notice, dynamic lighting and shadows, pixel shaders, cloth and skin deformation and simultaneous post effects (Desaturation, Wave/Wiggles, Frames, Noises)!
