Der Klein get your facts straight before u lie To ppl so they don't go buying things they can't run .. I'm not saying the game isn't playable on older devices but I have multiple games that are iPhone 4 only bc there 4 times as fast and the older iPhone can't handle them .. Epic citadel perfect example try installing it on the 3G it will say graphics not good enough buy I have heard some 3GS can barely run it it's atleast twice as good as 3G and half as good as iPhone 4

I think he's talking about iPod Touch 3G which is the same as iPhone 3GS. On paper, iPhone 3GS has 833MHz and iPhone 4 has 1GHz. Unless apple lift the underclock from 600 to 833Mhz on 3GS, yes iPhone 4 is almost twice faster.

CAN'T YOU READ I WROTE 3.RD GEN AND THE PERSON I QUOTED CLEARLY STED THEY HAD AN IPOD TOUCH 3.RD GENERATION?! Also, no, just because the iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4 has the CPU running at ~800 MHz doesen't mean it's supermegeultra fast compared to 3.rd Generation devices, there is this new thing called retina display. It just happens to slow stuff down abit. Yes, I have had an iPod Touch 3 before my new 4.th Generation one, so I could compare the differences. They feel pretty much the same speed wise. Seriously people, learn to read, don't double post your complaints about posts your read wrong and think abit before you post. Also, vipergts1885, Who are you talking to, you didn't even spell/finish wrighting my TA name!

What are you guys smoking? I'm sorry but all of you are wrong. Apple's advertising and people's reviews have gotten into your head. Get your facts straight. Der-Kleine is basically right. And here are the facts with benchmarking proof.
iPod touch 3G specs:
iPod touch 4G specs:
iPod touch 3G performance: http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/301657 iPod touch 4G performance: http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/301962 Here are iPod touch 1G and 2G benchmarks for a broader comparison: http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/289887 - 1G http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/300726 - 2G The iPod touch 4G is not 4X as fast, it uses the same hardware, just slightly higher clocked. , not as major as the difference between iPod touch 2G and 3G. Der-Klaine was pretty much right, you wont notice a huge difference between the two for performance, the 4G just runs at a higher resolution. Only the iPhone 4 has 512MB RAM, the Touch 4G only has 256Mb because Apple is cheap. the iPad is the best though, getting a 450 http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/301176 Even though the 4G has more power, there is nothing on the platform yet with which you will notice a difference. I am expecting a cortex A9 on 5th gen which will be a great jump from A4 chip. Maybe Apple will introduce it on the next ipad revision. |
