I love these style games. Obviously I would have welcomed global leaderboards, but 63 levels

makes this look like a sweet deal for a buck.

It's a simple game so I won't go into too much detail unless specifically requested.

Just played eight levels and I'm pleased to say it plays exactly how you probably expect it to play. Flick birds at pigs via catapult. Score points by smashing objects, killing pigs and having birds left over at the end. Level select screen suggests 3 worlds with 20 levels each, then something else at the bottom with a padlock icon over it... not sure what that is.

Individual level scores but no online leaderboards, no social platform integration.

Looks as good as the screenshots, plays perfectly smoothly, suitably jolly music and sound effects throughout

There are a couple of other games like this on the App Store, but the themes never really struck me, Angry Birds stands out thanks to the bright and colorful graphics and charmingly disgruntled characters.

Updated impressions:

Deeper than expected! The further you get into the game, the more bird types you unlock for use in each level. They're essentially different unit types, each one with it's own special attack, all activated by tapping the screen once during flight. Some may split into three, cluster bomb style, some may drop eggs like an old B52 bomber, and some may simply explode causing increased damage to the surrounding structure. This variation increases the puzzle aspect of the game significantly as some levels are designed to be tackled in a specific way. This addition has only deepened the fondness I feel for the game, and in my personal opinion the only thing I would ask for in an update is MORE PLEASE!

Hahaha.. yeah, the disgruntled birds, their animations and sounds is quite hillarious. This is a good fun game for 99 cents

Plenty of levels too!

It is. I'm from the "cranker school of online leaderboards" and even though this doesn't have em, I'm liking the game alot. Overall, if you like these type of games-don't miss Angry Birds.

I almost never critique games and this may sound picky..the between level little ditty tune is gonna drive me crazy!

This is very fun and enjoyable! Graphics are great and controls are spot on. I especially like that they leave a trail line from your last shot so you can judge your next shot since the target area is out of sight. Lots of levels for 99 cents with color and good sound!

Haven't tried playing my own music but liking what I see so far!
