EA seem to be rapidly churning out these classic board games and making a decent job of them to.

with extra 3d cut scenes and salvo modes this could be one of the standout versions of the game on the appstore. the branding will ofc help their cause

however, seeing as its a turn based game im disappointed to learn there is no online multiplay. bluetooth, pass n play etc are all useless here as i really dont know many people with idevices. i understand the costs involved with running a server and what not, but battleships against AI is near pointless, no fun at all.

will wait for an inevitable price cut, but it does look and sound a really polished battleship game.

Currently playing: Joe Dever's Lone Wolf and FM2014

Instant purchase

Online multiplayer would be nice but I am very happy with local mutiplayer.

Edit: Not out in Canada yet
