Interesting. Looks like it's using Google maps or something similar.

From just a glance, the icons look mismatched and some are quite pixely.

Games I highly recommend: CozyQuest, Gemmed, Jabeh, Blue Defense, Blue Attack, geoDefense, Hospital Havoc

Looks alright. The graphics do look a bit blurry as stated above.... but still, looks alright.

I didn't mind them being blurry, I more-so meant the background static due to transparency issues. The developer didn't knock out the background of each icon as well as they probably could have. That bugs me more than the blurry icons. ^ ^

For example, the light blue/blue/yellow/green swirl at the top of the second screen shot.

Update
Then again the video looks fine, so perhaps the problem was fixed? If that's the case, the screen shots should be updated; as some people base their buying decision off them.

wonder how much of the issues with graphics is as those are stills from a game that runs at 60 fps? - looks very smooth on the video, I must say.

Thank you guys for the feedback.

I have just done a recapturing of screen shots and uploaded them to the App Store. They should be visible soon. You areright some of the screenshots are from an older development version and the sprites have been cleaned up in version 1.0.

Again this game is fun because of the action = animation and the interactive controls. And it's difficult to show animation in a screen shot.

Hope you enjoy UFOs.

Do I see that correct, that you tap on your ship/the position the ship should be and that this triggers movement and shooting?

I hope that no enemies are coming from the left side, because you won't be able to see them under your finger.

I really love the idea of using Google Maps pics as background (is it allowed?). Easy for the dev and very cool. But then it would be even more fantastic, if the ships and powerups would have the same realisitic feel (photos of models with more realistic colours)...that would be a blast!
And I don't want to see Ying Yang signs, then you can also include smileys, peace signs and other crap... that's not stylish.
But I will wait for some reviews ...definitly being very interested!

Hey guys,

I listened to your input and have now improved the display resolution of the background images. See UFOs v1.1 for the update.
