This is pretty much what you see is what you get. Cartoon Wars graphics crossed with a side on shooter. Runs smooth, plays well. Pretty much all you need to know. More than worth a buck.

Game Impressions

This game is almost as fiendlishly addictive as cartoon wars, however if you're not a fan of survival shooters or side scrolling shooters, then this might not be the right game for you. However in my opinion the game is awesome, and the gameplay perfect. Basically you move around in this arena defending yourself from incoming monsters. The little cutscenes at the beginning suggest that you were once a hero after cartoon wars, but now the creatures have returned and you were pushed into a river. You manage to escape, climb onto the shore, and carve yourself a bow. Then you seek to once again defeat the invaders and return home.

As you might have guessed, the first weapon you start with is the bow. In between levels you can use your gold to upgrade/buy your guns and weapons, or in another menu you can upgrade your HP, mana, gold gain, skills, etc. There's a ton of upgrades to work for which keep you pushing forward. The graphics compared to cartoon wars are very crisp and polished. Animations are a bit better, though not as fluid as they could be. One thing that could be improved is the dpad because right now you can't drag it back and forth to move. Instead you press on the sides of it to move. If you move your thumb off the dpad you stop moving which can be frustrating at first. Overall it's a solid game and an awesome purchase for only a dollar.

I saw this on appsniper. Is it really that good? I found cartoon wars fun, but it got too hard too quickly.

OMG. Double Rainbow!

Just curious, do baddies only move from left or right horizontally like on tracks or are they able to move freely?
