I agree. Just posted my App Store review (4 stars) to show my support. Not a perfect game, but considering all the spectacular FPS failures in the App Store, it's amazing that the game 1) works; 2) is actually fun; and 3) looks and plays as decently as it does.

The wife is a graphic designer (she built our website and did all of the menus for the game). I did most of the programming and I also used a lot of freelancers for the models (can’t live without them)!

The wife and I are really happy all of you like the game! We really want to make quality games!

We are working on the following quick update, we hope to submit it very soon:

1) Add the ability to run
2) Add the ability to continue to fire when you drag your thumb off the fire button, and stop firing when you lift your thumb off the screen.
3) Add a pistol with unlimited ammo to help get you out of tight spots.

We are going to continue to update and app and we also plan on adding more levels with future updates.

Woohoo! Thank you! That'll make this game SO much better! It's good now, but that'll make it great for sure!

How does the checkpoint/save mechanism work? Does the game save/restart at checkpoints or levels or...? I really want to like ToonWarz, but replaying the entire level over and over from the beginning is grating on me and I'm hoping this isn't the same.

Edit-Thanks for clarifying saves Calouroj.

There is a checkpoint after each scene, and level. The game automatically saves your ammo for each weapon and health level at the end of each scene. If you quit the game during a scene, you will start at the beginning of that scene. You do not have to play through the entire level again. But you will have to play through the scene.

The controls are close to MC:S but a little diffrent. You can aim while shooting!
Something I'm not sure everyone realizes about the SGSC (Standard Gameloft Shooter Controls ^_^) is that if you hold your finger down after tapping the fire button you can drag it around to aim while continuing to fire. This keeps your left thumb free to move while you fire and aim. Just something to keep in mind. I look forward to giving your game a go!

I just uploaded a new build to Apple:

The Infinity Project v1.1

What's in the Update:
1) Added ability to run
2) Added New Fire Button Feature:
You can now Move, Aim, and Shoot all at the same time. Simply touch the fire button and you will continue to shoot while you move your thumb around to aim.
3) Added a low power, low range gun that has infinite amount of ammo (If you find yourself in a tight spot).
4) Increased the amount of ammo you start with for all weapons.
5) Increased the amount of ammo you pick up on easy difficulty.
6) Moved the default Fire Button from the left to the right (Still changeable under the options Menu).
