Default Rage Against the Machine For Christmas number 1! (UK)

As many of you might know, there is a large campaign to get RATM's Killing In The Name To Christmas number 1 in england, mainly to combat the power of the X-Factor.

http://itunes.apple.com/gb/artist/rage-against-the-machine/id899409

So yeah, what are your views.

Whilst some people are very against it, claiming it is "music snobbery" I just want a song I enjoy listening to to be no 1. Its also quite fun to watch the battle go on between them.

It's never going to happen. Last year the winning got 7 times more than any other song and the number 2 was that sing she song original version of what ever she song. All i can say if x-factor sucks .

While they have a big fan base (including me), it's not as big as, say, Taylor Swift or other more mainstream artists. Not gonna happen.

Edit: Oh, wait, nvm, I got it, I got. I was confused with the contest. RATM have got a pretty darn good chance.

I wish they'd chosen a different song, Killing In The Name has been in so many games recently. Anything from The Battle of Los Angeles would have been better.

You have to understand that these songs are alot less popular than killing in the name and probably would not have gotten the same response.
