There’s a video here:
http://game.snkplaymore.co.jp/game/i...touch/english/ It looks kind of hard to play... |

Metal Slug owns. I hope they did the license justice...

Anyone else seeing a weird rectangle in the second comment? A bug?
Edit: Love the serie BTW, I wonder if it's still brutally challenging? Last edited by MrSpud; 12-16-2009 at 11:20 PM.. |

Love the series, and I've been waiting for it to come to iPhone, but this looks kind of lame. Doesn't appear to allow you to play as the old characters, just the tank.

Ok, there's a fine line between beautiful pixel art and lazy & unoptimised port.
Unfortunately this looks like the later. |

Woah, those controls look terrible. Was much more excited before I saw the video on their site.

Graphics look really janky in those screenshots. I don't think I've clicked on a thread title faster than I did this one, but the air got sucked outta the room with those screens. Looks upscaled and unoptimised. Too bad, iDevices are capable of—and deserve so much more.

I have owned the MVS versions of Metal Slug 1-6 and also the Neo Geo pocket versions. It is odd that they would make this a vehicle only version.
I am a huge Neo fan but I will probably pass at the $4.99 as the controls look a little odd. |
