This looks pretty cool. I like this approach. $2.99 gets the separate ad free version but for free with ads you can try the full game. Gonna download the free version and if I like it buy the paid version

The controls are a little tough (dual stick move/look & touch anywhere to shoot... so not bad, I'm just out of practice), but even without creating anything there are nearly 200 available user created levels to download and one that comes bundled in the free version. Honestly, I'm looking for the to good to be true part but so far am not finding it . I haven't seen any ads yet either... though I was trying out an adblock program earlier so I may have accidentally disabled them? So far... this is looking like a buy. I need to play a few of the levels I downloaded (someone made the Prison from the Walking Dead!) and try creating something... but this has the potential to be something I could end up loving as much as Minecraft and other survival/creation games. Ok, maybe not that much but on the surface so far I'm very impressed.

This could be really good but the controls aren't too good. So you fall have to keep switching from gun-hand to open the doors etc? Could be really good

Yeah. The opening doors bit I think is to help create tension since overall the shooting part is pretty simple to just touch and get a head shot each time. I think where this could shine is in user created levels. The Walking Dead Prison 1 is actually kind of cool. I'm not too deep into it since it starts you out with a pretty big group of zombies outside the initial fenced in area... so it's a lot of take nine shots to earn cash then back to the safe room to get another nine rounds with the cash earned. But I can see how cool this could get. I'm warming to the controls.

i think this is great to put a level editor in a zombie game. very creative. I'm going to buy the ad free version to support this dev. curious what the dev will bring in its next update.

ps. this game is release back in january and the dev is quite active with update support.

How is the performance on recent devices such as iPhone 5s or iPad Air, is it smooth?
