Sorry if this has been discussed already, but does anyone know how fast you have to be in the first level of campaign mode in order to branch off into the more difficult ones? I don't seem to have beaten the clock so far...

If they're the same as the ones I've been talking about, then they defenitely start coming with 1,000,000 already. :/

The enemies which fly past you real fast and usually hit the base? yeah those are annoying if you don't have the fire power to stop them.

If you know when to expect them, it helps to sit around the base and take them off when they start coming and ignoring the other enemies until the wave has passed.

I usually die around 2.8mil with the hunter swarm + dual hard boss ships
:-( I only get one boss ship and 1/2 the hunters taken out.. maybe Ishould try the new reverse! |

Don't get me wrong, for $2 Blue Attack is a great game. Great graphics, sound, controls, upgrades, etc.
I played Infinity Mode for maybe the 6th time today and played for 55 minutes and got 2.4 million. By no means am I an expert at the game. I felt that for 55 minutes, I was basically doing the same thing. There are only a few types of enemies... cores that have lots of defense you need to break through, and cores that move fast. That's really it. Plus the difficulty needs to ramp up faster. The only thing that changes is that the core defense gets a bit tougher each level and the cores move a bit faster. It basically seemed like one long level interrupted by upgrade choices. The levels just seem to cycle through 4-5 different enemy layouts. I think there needs to more types of enemies and different variety. Anyone else agree? I still give tons of props to the developer for making a great game at a low price, I just can't understand why everyone loves it so much. Maybe it's because I don't really want to play on my iPhone for 55 minutes straight. I think the games should be quicker and the difficulty needs to ramp up much faster so that by 20-30 minutes of playing it should be extremely hard to survive. |
