It's actually an exact port of the Flash version, so this one is as "classic" as it gets. Hopefully if it does well we'll be able to spend some time making some new game modes and features in the updates. Thanks for all the suggestions - keep 'em coming!
No, I'm saying if you were to add some extra features to the main game mode, also make v1.0 accessible in the form of a classic mode.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. Yes, if we add some new gameplay features we'll definitely keep the current version as a "classic mode" with separate highscores. No worries there

If you want to compare this to cube runner, I would say Vector Runner is the winner. In my opinion, it's because the speed increases over time, there are bonuses you can pick up, love the graphics, and the angle is more comfortable for whatever reason. Only thing it's missing is the ability to make and download maps, like in Cube Runner.

That's cause it's a one level adrenaline rush. Isn't it randomly generated? I thought it's just more stuff gets added as your score goes up but it's randomly generated.

It is controlled simply by pressed the right and the left sides of the screen. Very simple and easy to use.

If you liked cube runner, this (to me) is kind of a better version of it. Only negative is no map maker or tilt controls (which wouldn't really work for this game). I would suggest this to you if you like casual games that can end fairly quickly (like Cube Runner, Canabalt, Doodle Jump). It definitely has a retro/vector feel to it, great music too.

We don't have any immediate plans to provide a map editor, but it's an interesting idea. Something we'll definitely have to think about.

The obstacles and powerups in the game are indeed randomly generated, but there are "hints" as too what kind of obstacles and items appear in particular sections (and at what frequency). That's why every time you go through certain areas you might see only powerups and mines, but when you re-play the powerups and mines in that area will be randomized.

And I'm glad you like the music! If you want you can download an mp3 of it here.

Wait, Cranker asked about leaderboards?

Yeah, it has daily and all-time boards that are very easy to use.

I really like this game. The controls are super-smooth and responsive; at first I tended to over-compensate when trying to avoid obstacles or get power-ups but have since gotten used to the controls' nuances. Also, there's a pretty generous range for hitting the power-ups. They are tiny and appear hard to pick up, but you don't have to hit them exactly to acquire them.

Keep up the good work, devel.
