Yes, but lately some developers have been dropping the "Lite" tag for their free versions. "Free" means more to the general populous than "Lite", and developers are starting to create a new trend by making their lite games have a "Free" tag instead. Catches the eye better of the mainstream casual gamer

in other words free = lite nowadays heh

genres are not to be seen as forms of textual codifications, but as systems of orientations, expectations and conventions that circulate between industry, text and subject.
