Fishtropolis: NimbleBit's sequel to Textropolis!

Yay TXTroplis (I know thats not how its spelled) was one of my fave apps ever.

Getting this.

This is very cool - I wish there was a gift app option now for SURE - my mother got all 5 stars in every city on three games of Textropolis - my itouch, my dad's iphone, and my brother's iphone! She was disappointed and wanted more! She will LOVE this!

There are 5 silver stars AND 5 gold stars to earn in every city of Textropolis (a bit confusing I admit). In Fishtropolis you earn half stars with 5 stars total.

lol, beat me to it. So many people must get a sinking feeling when they realize that!

Too bad it's not more obvious, or more rewarding for not using hints. My mom plays textropolis constantly, and has never used a hint before because she doesn't want to lose her score. But there's really no way of showing that or proving it.

Hmm will have to share this information - she would like to know this - there are only 5 stars visible - how do you get the next 5?

For stars 6-10, gold stars replace the silver stars. Again, this was redesigned to work better in Fishtropolis!

Well if two people who have completed the game compared their scores, the one who heavily relied on hints would have a noticeably lower score. The hint system has been reworked in Fishtropolis. Each hint is less expensive and reveals successive letters of the same unguessed word. You can hit the hint key again to review your last hint and decide whether you want another letter or not.



EDIT: Oh and I forgot to mention what I think is the COOLEST addition to Fishtropolis! See that little progress bar under the number of words guessed? That shows your progress to the next half star (and new scenery and more fish)!
