Monthly Hidden Gems (December 2009) Cast Your Opinions

December was a month filled with price drops and great free offers. Here's a list of games released in December that might have been overlooked during this festive holiday season:

(We are following the rules outlined in our first Monthly Hidden Gems thread. Previous monthly hidden gem threads are listed at the bottom of this post. )

While I havn't played most of these (might go for ToonWarz though if people are still playing online), I have to say that BloodNGuns is just awesome. A real hidden gem. Aztec Quest isn't hugely known, but it's really awesome, so I'll have to put that one in there. Too bad Fighting Fantasy just came out, I want to put a vote in there for that one but it came out in January.

Pirate Climber appears to be free at the moment... it was free originally, then 99c for one day... then back to free.

Edit: Aha, in-app purchase.

Thanks for those Touchgamer3g, checking out Into The Blue and Big Top Cannon right now

Oh crap, I forgot one of my favorites!

All Fridges Are Psychotic is awesome, Flag Hippo did an awesome job with it. It definetly deserves more attention than it has gotten, despite a few drawbacks. Check it out.

And for the dude who's going for one game from the list a month, go for BloodNGuns. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not getting that game. It's like Endless Zombie Rampage, only alot better and on your iPod/iPhone.

I think Ingenious should be added to the list of December gems. It has quickly become one of my favorite strategy/board games. I played this game more over Christmas break than any other. It would be even better if you could play 2-player games over wifi.
