Hi mattll,

The initial version could be seen as having elements of the 2, perhaps in a slightly more peaceful manor

Its a virtual forest/pet entertainment app with god sim elements that we've been working hard to get to a stable base, so we can add some very major updates planned over the coming weeks & months!

Some new features are already finalized, and we're very open to user opinion and feedback, so we can shape the world and game play around players ideas.

I'll post more details soon, and am happy to reply to any questions anyone has.

My brother just got this and I have to say. I'm impressed. Better art style, and more peaceful than Pocket God. I remember only being able to pick up the PG pygmies in the first "episode." Nice job guys.

Some ideas:
*Poison mushrooms- part of the mushroom power, occasionally there will be a poison mushroom, which hurts the "Forest Folk."

*A tree house- A little area where the Forest Folk can walk around.

*Lightning- part of the rainfall power, lightning may strike occasionally which can also hurt them.

*Night- This would be cool because you could add fireflies, a moon, etc.

OMG. Double Rainbow!

The game concept is really good, I like the graphics and the character functionality. There is "mana" that you use to perform "miracles". There are Minigames to collect your mana and get more everytime you play. When you use a "miracle" you see "mana bubbles" float up. You can receive mana by popping those bubbles.

I would like to see more evil things you can do and also a new minigame where you control a "sapling" with a virtual Joystick or d-pad. And have to jump to a high or low spot to try and find the "Chest of Mana"

All in all BUY this game if you like god sims and any other addicting games!

Game Impressions

Forest Folk is the kind of game I have been waiting for. This is the type of game where you have your own virtual world with little saplings. Your saplings live in your pocket and the game saves automatically which is a plus. I have only had a short time with this app so far, but I am loving it. The game has a peaceful vibe to it and is very relaxing.

In the Miracles menu, there are different things you can do to your saplings: Food, Water, Flowers, and Butterflies. Fruit/Mushrooms help bring down hunger. Water helps quench thirst. Flowers make saplings happy. Butterflies improve health.

~The goal of Forest Folk is to keep your little saplings happy. You can drag your saplings around and do different things with them. If the game sounds confusing, there is no need to worry because there is plenty of help throughout the game.

~Along with the peaceful background, the music is very calming. There are also two mini games to play. In Play Echo, you have to play back the melody the saplings sings. In Gather Mania, you have to click as many Mana bubbles as you can in thirty second.

To sum Forest Folk up in a few words, it is incredible. If you have any interest whatsoever in these kinds of games, I would definitely pick this gem up. The art style is amazing and so is the smooth gameplay.
