KingdomWar (Dicewars clone) is out

Just saw KingdomWar hit the store...it's a Dicewars knockoff (only thing missing AFAIK is Dice Caching) -- the graphics could be improved, but all the basics are there.

It does save if you back out and come back into the game.

So far I give it a 4/5 (dicewars purity), with a 1 point hit for graphics, slow enemy turns, and lack of dice caching. (all nit-picks).

edit:: If you're not a dicewars purist, I'll give it a 3/5 for price.

So what does this offer over Strategery that makes it worth triple the price?

From the first app store image:
"2. Attack neighbor by touching their area."

Sounds like molestation wars.

Serious fail on my part after reading that quote -- I immediately went to look up mole-station wars in iTunes. As I was typing it in it hit....oooooohhhh.

As far as the price, I didn't realize that Strategery had dropped. If you're not a big dicewars fan, then Strategery has more polish and more options. If you're looking for a pure dicewars experience, this app is the closest I've found. The price difference isn't really big enough to matter.

I'm sure that this app will follow the normal pricing trends over time.
