App description: Unleash Your Inner Pirate!

"...a must buy for board game fans." - The App Chap (appchap.blogspot.com)

"There is a crazy amount of strategy involved here." - iPhoneAppReviews.net

Cannons fire and boarding parties battle as you contend with your fellow scoundrels to plunder the largest share of the Treasure Fleet! Brazen players may bring out their big guns early, but will they find themselves lacking when the richest galleons are spotted? Shrewd players may ration their cannon fire to pick off the smaller ships, but will it be enough to claim victory?

Based on the original fast-paced strategy card game, you'll play against your phone. You choose the level you compete against, from lowly Cabin Boys all the way up to cunning Captains.

As the game is played, treasure ships sail out for the pirates to fight over. It's up to each player to capture as many as they can. Players start with the same set of attack cards, but once an attack has been made it's gone for the rest of the game. Manage your resources wisely! Fight like a pirate and win!

- Single player mode.
- Several levels of difficulty to compete against.
- Customization of player attributes (Portrait, Color, Name).
- Customization of opponents (Difficulty, Portrait, Color).
- Music and sound effects (optional).
- A special code that provides a huge discount on the original tabletop game!

I was too lazy to read all the game rules on the website, but the game seems really interesting. I'll try this tonight.

I tried this one yesterday and I like it a lot.

The gameplay mechanics are quite similar to Keizner's Charlemagne. You play against three other opponents (AI, bluetooth or wifi). At the beginning of the play you have a preconstructed stack of cannon cards with different values which are used to win over ships each turn.

Basically, each player plays a cannon on a ship and the biggest cannon (or stack of cannons) wins the ship and the points associated to it.

Strategy comes from the fact that each ship has a different point value (highest ones are the most battled for) and that your stack is always the same so you have to keep track of what is played by others to win the ships you want the most.

There is no ingame tutorial, but a nice help that explains very clearly all the rules and gives useful hints.

I'm not use you can play this for ages but it is a really cool game to pass 10 minutes.

Treasure Fleet was just updated. This update includes:
  • Improved the help and game option interfaces to be more user friendly.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when tapping an open attack slot.
  • Some AI Improvements to make the virtual scoundrels more challenging!

We also received a review from The App Chap. Check it out!

And if you like our iPhone app, be sure to check out the special offer on the original card game in the app's help section.

Thanks again to everyone who has purchased and reviewed Treasure Fleet, we appreciate it.

Thnks for the update! the governor has been "robbed" from me for the first time in many plays before. It seems that the Ai is indeed a bit more challenging.

Quick question, but what about iPad support? Are you going to update the app so that it's universal? Or will you instead release a separate "HD" version? Just considering my options...
