Independent Game Developers - Pixar's One Man Band

You see this spread across the forum...

And from some point of view the users have this right of throwing the coin to whoever they want...

Just a thought....

Ok, I've read it three times but perhaps I understood... it's a sort of metaphor

He says that indie developers in their threads try to appeal customers just like the two musicians in pixar's short movie, and the customers are like the kid in the above mentioned picture, deciding who deverseves most their coin...

did I win a prize?

Man, it could be a metaphor if it wasn't real... I mean, for me some game developing involves a lot of art (modern, design, whatever)... and we're trying to sell it... the funny thing is that there's only a coin... or it seems that...

Without dreams of excessive wealth, I guess that we could see there's enough to continue with the art of game developing...

(By the way, I'm not referring only indie developers, I meant everyone who is begging for a buck)...
