This is one of the most unique point and clicks I have yet to play. You must move your device in realistic ways to find things - I found this out by accident when I was laying down. I had my device up over my face and the view switched to the ceiling and there was an object I was looking for! Then in order to get another object I had to shake the device to get it free!

They really need to push that more in the description! Looks like it got cut off!

However, its really really short. Now I am disappointed.

Yes to all of the other posts. Devilish fun, fiendish puzzles but come on.... a locked room game that's only one room??? The full version and you escape the tower room to rescue **** only to find a "to be continued" ending. Seeing as you're stuck in a castle, with one assumes a lot of rooms, paying for the game room by room will make this the most expensive app in the store!

Hrm, I guess maybe 'room escape' games aren't for me. I rarely contribute to game threads, and I think only ever before when it's been something I've *loved*, but this game actually irritated me enough to post.

It's the first 'room escape' game I tried, though was aware of them -- I soon caved in for a walkthrough, after half an hour of frustrated and increasingly random jabbing. My main problem, in a game which is partly simulation/roleplaying, is that a lot of the 'puzzles' are entirely without logic. [SPOILER ALERT:] For instance, having to wipe clean a crystal ball, then find two component hammer parts (?!), all just to be able to smash it -- when you could have dropped it on the floor (yes, I know, it's just a game...) It all felt far too random and without logic or justification in the 'story'. I wouldn't mind if some of it was like that -- serendipitous finds -- but way too much of it is.

It'd also be nice if more detail of the room was retained -- if you leave a cupboard open, when you move away from that wall and then back again, it's magically closed. The clock doesn't show the time you changed it to once zoomed back out.

Meh. Maybe it's just that I don't *get* the genre, but for something which is trying to have a story/mystery the 'puzzles' are just far too oblique/random. It's not just sour grapes 'cos I couldn't figure them for myself, honest .

I wouldn't wish to put people off getting this if they know they like these kind of jab-at-the-screen mystery adventures, but if you're on the fence then perhaps don't bother.
