We Rule

I got this Email from ngmoco

Quote:
We Rule puts you in charge of a kingdom. Your kingdom. You'll raise crops, collect taxes and trade with neighboring realms. You'll act as city planner and landscaper. It's your space, and it's fully customizable.
Most importantly, you'll be playing and cooperating with your friends.
Soon you'll be crafting your own kingdom in We Rule. We'll share more details about our social kingdom builder shortly.
This sounds very fun. I'm looking forward to this & Godfinger.

Hoping it is more like a mix of harvest moon and animal crossing with a social element (as opposed to a generic social farming simulator).

More info on "We Rule" I got from ngmoco's Facebook Page:

ngmoco has a new social game, We Rule, in the works. We’re excited to share it with you.

In We Rule, you will govern your very own kingdom. You will act as a city planner and landscaper—customizing your realm with buildings, banners, and botany. You’ll decide what crops to plant and ensure they are harvested on time. You will collect taxes from your citizens and manage a variety of shops and businesses - from bakeries and inns to lumber mills and ore mines.

We’re also pleased to announce we’re collaborating with App Store star Newtoy tocreate this innovative, next-gen social game. Newtoy has astrong development pedigree on a host of platforms - before iPhone and iPod, the team helped create Age of Empires and Halo Wars. More recently they’ve engineered smash mobile hits Words with Friends and Chess with Friends.

Soon you’ll have a chance to build a kingdom of your own. We’ll be revealing more about the game soon.

lol, I was thinking the same.

I'm guessing that this will be something along the lines of farmville (which I hate). And it seems quite possible that they will include 'DLC', in other words, pointlessly splashing out cash for points, tools, seeds etc, just like farmville.
Nevermind, I suppose other people may enjoy it

Yeah i'm almost positive there will be DLC. I just hope it wont make or break the game like it did TouchPets for me. Eliminate I dont mind due to the fact i Play it casually so there is no need to spend if i dont want to.

I actually kinda like the idea of a Farmville-type game on the iPhone, I'd rather play it on there than on Facebook.
