Tetris was originally created by a Russian, Alexey Pajitnov, while he was working at the Computer Centre in the Russian Academy of Science. So I thought the name of this tetris clone is rather a clever play on words.
Funny story - my parents were actually working there at the same time. They said Pajitnov didn't focus too much on his job, since he preferred making games instead. The people working at the Computing Center were the original beta testers. My mom said she got no work done for a month because she was addicted to Tetris
And yeah, the Tetris company is going to pull this clone off the store. As well they should. Hurray for IP, and hurray for America. Pajitnov didn't see a dime of the Tetris profits for the first TEN YEARS of its existence.
