im gonna stick my neck out and say this will be the gamebook to beat all others. from what ive read they employed a pro story writer for it, plus it doesnt have the same restricted and simplified system old gamebooks of the 80s had when they were in their infancy. tho im buying them all when they hit the appstore regardless!

This. I have Firetop Mountain and I tested this, and this is way better. Better dice, no annoying labyrinth mazes, great storytelling... it's worth the money, trust me.

Obviously a killer idea and the implementation looks great, which I've come to expect from Tin Man Games. Can't wait...although, I've proven that I can, since I've been waiting since the front page article dropped.
