The only reason they're releasing it separate is because it's a lot of square pixel tiles, and because they want to make more money. Add an extra dungeon + different version = making people pay for the game twice. Real shame... Edit: And that's a damn shame... Ah well, I'll probably just wait longer as I'd hate to buy the lesser version of the game. |

I have explained the reasons in the Across Age HD upcoming thread.
On of them is that upgrading the normal version to DX would kill almost 200.000 savegames. |

Is there any way to include the extra dungeon as an update or as some form of DLC? Bahh, I'm sorry if I sounded like a jack a** earlier, I'll probably buy this game asap. Last edited by Gunblade1190; 08-26-2010 at 04:17 AM.. |

I'm finally done with the game!
and now, my review, hopefully it is still useful to those who wanna buy (though i think everyone seems to be done with the game already) Storyline: Simple, standard save-the-world, time-travelling theme. Yet the story isn't so shallow such that i feel the story is just created for the sake of being created. storyline is important after all. The concept of rebirth stones are just awesome, a creative way to create more equipment :P The characters created were cute and heart-warming too ![]() graphics: it's alright, i'm not too finicky on graphics, so this was quite basic. some people complained (i read in the past 116 pages) that the sprites are always 'walking', and suggested a variation such as 'attacking' etc. well..... i didn't think of it as a burden. i guess i really took the simplicity of jrpg just like that. i really think the the graphics are alright. maybe... a variation of monsters would've been lovely. for the first few hours i kept attacking wolves and butterflies with varying strengths. if the development team can afford it, have more monsters!! Music: I think the music is not too bad. Gets little repetitive, but i really like how upbeat the music is generally throughout the game. Sad thing is that we can't listen to our own music while in gameplay. Would've been nice if we could listen to our own music here and there ^^ Navigation: Ahh... the biggest problem. I read someone say that it's too easy to walk diagonally. I understand that it's useful cos after all, Ales attack diagonally. Well, there were many times i accidentally fell into the bottomless pit so much, I was fed up and stopped playing for a few hours XD But I was not too bothered by it after a while i guess... Puzzles: *nod* they were cool, and some did require some thinking. many of them were straight-forward considering that hints were given. Some puzzles do require deeper thinking, but most of them are do-able. Rather, a highly observant and logical person will find it a breeze, while the average people (like me) will face a little trouble, but solve the puzzles eventually. I especially love the cooperative-puzzles, those that require two of the characters to solve the puzzle. Battle: Haha, this is an interesting area to talk about. Some people are outraged by the fact that Ales 'bump' into monsters to attack, but it's really useful when you are so troubled trying to figure out the puzzle to bother. Ceska and Ales have a decent range of skills to play with, so that's lovely too :3 Oh, and the equipments and accessories are not bad :3 boss battles are also, cooperative-strategy, so it's really great maybe it would've been better if i can have more accessories, but i'm quite alright with the battle system and monster spawn rate :PFinal Verdict: The storyline and the nitty-gritty are good. The content is not too hard to understand. People who hardly play puzzles will definitely have a good challenge in solving puzzles, and it is a refreshing feeling to know you've solved it. Furthermore, the representative from fdg is here to answer everyone's big and small problems, so you know that support is always given. i will definitely play through another 2 times ![]() Requests: dear future, would it be okay if you can feedback to the team to see if they can release like, a mini soundtrack of all the songs in the game to us fans here? I'm sure most of them would love to hear the songs again (without having to worry about annoying monsters :P) I know many of you are thinking that this review is too nice, but i'm someone who seeks entertainment, so i'm satisfied with simple entertainment yeah? Haha, with my long and draggy post, hope that i was of some help to prospective buyers, or some further encouragement/praise/boot-licking to the development team for a job well done

After opening the gate from the screenshot switch to Ales, join Ceska again.
Then walk the path where Ceska came from and youŽll reach a place with movable stones which you couldnŽt move before (Ceska canŽt move blocks.) YouŽll eventually find a path that has a gap. You can throw Ceska over it. |
