I know neither will be changed but I just can't play this. The art approach is completely lazy. I understand the low amount of sprite work done on the secondary characters and npcs but on the main characters themselves? they could of atleast had a death/attacking/standing sprite, and it's not that hard. In fact I stick by my opinion that if they had at least did a better job with the sprite work the combat itself would be more appealing by looks enough to make up for it itself.

Frankly, I get so caught up trying to figure out the puzzles and bosses, that I just don't pay attention to the character animation.

Not sure why you felt the need to restate your opinion.

I believe you need to use a rebirth stone on the beautiful clock... it will then turn into a shiny new clock which you can sell at the store for G6500. Future777 is that it, or is there more to it than that?
As to the "four sets of fiends" - the keyword here is "sets" - expose them in pairs and it will unlock the door.

Also, I didn't save the game before I killed the count. After the cutscene, the game restarted except that I now have access to a cheat menu. I lost all of my weapons, skills, items, etc.
The only time I saved the game was when I met the pirate at the beach
Am I missing something or did I actually lose my progress?

BTW - Finished the game in 3 days. My wife is about to take my iphone away now

you get it from the past for a different clock.
i just havent bothered figuring it out yet since ive finished the game
