I very much want a high quality Godzilla game.

This game doesn't look like it will satisfy that need however.

Wow, this actually looks and sounds fun. Graphics aren't breath-taking, but if the environments are fully destructable, and controls are tight; this could be a winner. OpenFeint to boot

LOL! Turns out I did buy it and completely forgot. Just searched my phone and it popped up in the results. I'll play it bit and post impressions. Stay tuned.

I'll start by saying I'm torn.

Here's what you get for $.99:

- 6 maps: In the order they're unlocked...Training Camp, Oakville, Shoreline Bay, Isla Fresca, Placid Reef, San Francisco. Each successive map gets larger with more stuff to destroy which you scroll over with a 1 finger tap-n-drag manuver. It scrolls smoothly 97% of the time but it did jump to a random part of the map a few times. I didin't necessarily mind as there was more stuff to destroy there as well.

- Maps are made up of buildings, a few emergency vehicles that drive around, a helicopter, trees, and as you destroy buildings the people run out into the streets for you to kill resulting in a delightful scream that never didn't make me smile as well as Batman style "munch" or "chomp" word balloon. As the people run from buildings a special character with a title like "tax collector" and "you boss" above them that you get more money for.

- on later levels the city blocks get pretty big and cluttered with buildings (of which there are maybe 6 or 7 types) to smash. It'd be nice to see a little more variety in an update maybe but the buildings burn and disappear in phases until only rubble is left. I'm attaching pictures of a few buildings going down step by step.

When it comes down to it the entire time you play you're really just constantly tapping the screen. Beneath that tapping are buildings burning and crumbling to the ground with their occupants crowding the streets (...and sometimes ocean. seriously, the run on water. Not even Jesus is safe.) in fear, screaming and splatting as a disembodied finger is smiting them as well as the rescue vehicles that should be saving them. The whole time dollars signs from the destruction are flying up everywhere encouraging you to tap faster.

Overall it plays smooth, the visual style is basic and simple but it fits as does the sound effects. The complete package adds up to something I found morbidly satisfying and personally I don't regret spending the $.99. If everything that came before this sentence sounds like it'd be morbidly satisfying to you, you may not regret spending the .$99. If there are other games you're looking at you might want to hold off on this one for now.

...and it's OF enabled if that interests you.

I took some screenshots while playing but apparently I can't upload them from my phone. Is that possible? For now those are my impressions. Thanks.
